All you need to know about the “Mokafaaty” and “Ajwaa” loyalty programs by Bank Aljazira
Bank Aljazira offers its customers two rewards programs: Mokafaaty which is available for Visa and MasterCard credit cardholders and Ajwaa which is available for Ajwaa Credit Cardholders.
How to register to Mokafaaty and Ajwaa program?
Enrolling in the Mokafaaty program does not require registration as customers will be automatically enrolled once a new credit card is issued. All Bank Al Jazira credit cards are included in this program except the low limit cards and Ajwaa cards which have their own program.
Holders of Ajwaa credit cards are given an auto-generated membership number once they issue a new Ajwaa Credit Card, this number is embossed on the primary and supplementary cards for a customer to use for any points inquiries.
How to earn Mokafaaty and Ajwaa points?
Customers earn Mokafaaty and Ajwaa points only on purchase transactions using credit cards. Cash withdrawal transactions, SADAD payments, and cash transfers from credit card to current accounts are excluded from the program. Customers’ Points Balance appears in the card’s monthly statement and is calculated as the previous month’s balance plus the new earned points.
Mokafaaty Points
Points from all Mastercards and Visa credit cards are calculated as 1% cashback or voucher on every SR1 spent these points are not transferable to other accounts and will expire after two years from the earned date.
Ajwaa Points
As for the Ajwaa Credit Cards, only the net points balance that appears in the monthly statement will be redeemable, these points expire 3 years after the date they are issued. Points are collected as below:
How to redeem Mokafaaty and Ajwaa Points?
Mokafaaty Points
Customer must have at least SR100 worth of points (10,000 points) to use in order to redeem points.
These points can be redeemed as cashback or vouchers from partner merchants.
Holders of the Al Jazira credit cards can also benefit from direct discounts from partners when purchasing using their Al Jazira credit cards.
Ajwaa Points
There is no minimum number of points required to perform a redemption transaction for the Ajwaa Points.

In case of insufficient points balance for redemption, the customer can purchase extra points from Ajwaa website by using Ajwaa credit card which qualifies the customer to collect new points against this transaction.
If the customer requests to cancel the redemption transaction the redeemed points in this case will be credited to the points membership account,
A cancellation fee of SR.150 will be charged to the customer for each air ticket or hotel booking plus any other cancellation fee determined by the service provider, all cancellation fees will be charged to the customer's Ajwaa credit card.
