By  Hana Ihjoul , Digital Marketing.

Alshaya Group is one of the largest retail groups in the Middle East, as it brings together more than 100 international brands from various industries such as restaurants, fashion brands, furniture stores, health and beauty products, and family entertainment stores such as Kidzania and of course Starbucks. In order to reward its most loyal customers the group established the Privilege Club program in 2018 initially in Kuwait and expanded to the rest of the Gulf countries in 2019; Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and soon the rest of the Middle East.

How to register for the Privilege Club Rewards Program?

Customers can sign up to the program in two ways, either through:

. The mobile application: Customers can download the app on both Apple and Android systems and register.

. At any of the shops of the Alshaya Group where customers can issue the card at the cashiers.

How does the program work?

The Privilege Program does not depend on the traditional collecting points system, however, members’ receive offers and discounts designed based on preferences and purchasing habits as such, offers may differ from one customer to another.

In addition to discounts and offers, members of the Privilege Club program enter a monthly draw, taking place in each country separately. Members can enter the draw more than once during the month, as will be explained below; in addition to that, members can enter another draw carried on every three months. To qualify and enter the draws, members much present their Privilege Club Card at the cashiers upon completion of their purchases be it the actual plastic card or virtual card on the app.

Monthly withdrawals

The total amount for the draw differs between each of these countries so is the number of winners, and the amounts required to qualify and enter the draw. Furthermore, customers get more chances to enter the draw every time they spend, for example, members in the United Arab Emirates, need 60 dirhams/month to enter the draw, hence, if they spend 120 dirhams they enter the draw twice and increase their chances to win.
