Help Lebanon when you take a trip with Careem

After the terrible Beirut explosion on August 4th, Careem collaborated with the World Food Program (WFP) giving its users an opportunity to donate reward points to relief affected families in Beirut. This was made possible through the Careem Super App, launched earlier this year to combine all Careem services and make donations available to users.

Careem’s office in Beirut was damaged by the blast, but fortunately none of employees or captains were hurt, on the contrary, Careem offered free trips to people wishing to donate blood at local hospitals.

To donate Careem points, follow these steps:

1. Click on "Rewards Points" on the top right of the application.

2. In the list of Careem rewards, scroll down to "Donations" and select "Contribute US$ 1 to Lebanon."

3. Click on "Donate".

It is worth noting that PointCheckout users can spend Reward points on Careem credit, benefit from the various services provided by Careem, and collect Careem more points.
