The UAE based Mashreq Bank introduced Al Salaam Rewards Programs to reward its customers for most of their banking relationship. The program allows customers to earn points on purchases, banking products such as loans and other banking operations.

How to join Salaam Reward program?
Customers are enrolled in the program when they issue cards or open accounts however, they must create accounts on MashreqOnline in order to benefit from the full functionality of the Salaam website.
How to collect Salaam points?
Points are categorized into spending points and Relationship Points which includes loans and other banking services. It is important to note that all points expire after 3 years of acquisition.
Relationship Points:
customers start earning points monthly once they open an account with Mashreq bank under the condition that they use two of the bank’s products. The number of monthly points earned vary depending on the account, the transferred amounts or maintained balance as listed below:
Spending points:
Points are earned when using a credit or debit card for purchases as below:
Loans:
Finally, customers earn 500 points from every deposit of 100,000 AED
How to redeem points
The bank created a mobile application for their rewards program “SNAPP” to help customers find more offers and allocate retailers close to them. There are three ways to redeem Mashreq Points
1.Travel and Hotels booking: Customers can redeem points to purchase air tickets or book a hotel through Mashreq’s partnership with MMI
2.Pay with points at POS using Mashreq card: Customers can use their points for instant purchases at any retail stores in the condition that they have the card with them and inform the retailer that they wish to use to points, they can also top up the amount with direct payment if the points are not enough.
3.Online Shopping from Mashreq Rewards website.
4.Vouchers: Customers can redeem points for vouchers from any of the retail shops listed on the Salaam website
